Do you really not charge for diagnostics?
That's right. Unlike most HVAC companies in Houston, we never charge a diagnostic or service call fee. We'll come to your home, inspect your system, and give you an honest assessment - completely free. We believe you should know what's wrong before you spend a dime.

What are your hours?
Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. MyKelly's AC is fully licensed and insured to perform HVAC work in the state of Texas. We've been serving the Houston area since 1995.
Installation Questions
How much does a new AC system cost?
Our new central AC systems start at $2,995. The final price depends on the size of your home, the efficiency rating you choose, and any additional work needed (like ductwork modifications). We provide a clear, written quote before any work begins.
Do you offer same-day installation?
Yes, in many cases. If we have the right system in stock for your home, we can often install it the same day. No reason to spend an extra night sweating in the Houston heat.
What brands do you install?
We carry and install all major HVAC brands. During your free consultation, we'll recommend the best option for your home size, budget, and comfort preferences.
What warranty comes with a new system?
Every system we install includes a 10-year manufacturer's warranty on parts. We register the warranty for you and make sure you're fully covered from day one.
Do you offer financing?

Repair & Maintenance Questions
How often should I service my AC?
In the Houston area, we recommend servicing your AC at least once a year, ideally in spring before the heat hits. Systems that run year-round benefit from twice-annual maintenance (spring for cooling, fall for heating).
How often should I change my air filter?
Every 1-3 months, depending on the type of filter, whether you have pets, and your home's air quality. In Houston's dusty, pollen-heavy environment, monthly checks are a good habit.
My AC is running but not cooling. What should I do?
First, check your air filter — a clogged filter is the most common cause. Also check that your thermostat is set to "cool" and the temperature is set below the current room temperature. If those check out, give us a call for a free diagnostic visit.
Should I repair or replace my AC?
As a general rule: if your system is less than 10 years old and the repair cost is under 50% of a new system, repair it. If it's over 10–15 years old, uses R-22 refrigerant, or needs a major repair (compressor, evaporator coil), replacement is usually the smarter investment. We'll give you an honest recommendation either way.
What's that musty smell coming from my vents?
In Houston's humidity, mold and mildew can grow inside your ductwork and on your evaporator coil. This is common and fixable - we can clean your ducts, treat the coil, and install UV light purification to prevent it from coming back.
